This policy explains what personal information we collect through hyperionred.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Hyperion is a trading name of Helios Light Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). If anything here is unclear, email hello@hyperionred.com and we will explain it plainly.
Information you give us
We only collect what you choose to type into a form on this site:
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, whether the bed is for a home or a commercial space, and your message.
- Profit calculator: your name, email address, and the figures you enter, along with the results produced.
- Guide and brochure requests: your email address, and which guide you asked for.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, government identifiers, or health information through this website.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we record technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived, and any campaign or referral tags in the link you clicked.
Session analytics. We use third party analytics tools that may record a replay of your visit, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the pages you view. These tools mask text entered into form fields by default. We use this only to find and fix usability problems on the site.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses cookies and similar identifiers for three purposes: to make the site work, to measure how it is used, and to measure the performance of our advertising. Advertising identifiers also allow us to show ads to people who have visited this site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry and send the guide, brochure or information you asked for.
- To follow up about the product you enquired about, by email or phone.
- To understand which pages and advertisements are working, so we can improve them.
- To meet our legal and record keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with external service providers that operate our business systems, and only so they can perform that service for us. These fall into the following categories:
- Website hosting and infrastructure providers.
- Customer relationship management and email delivery providers.
- Analytics and advertising measurement providers.
These providers are bound to use the information only for the services they supply to us. Some of them store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union, so by submitting a form you consent to that overseas storage. We will otherwise not disclose your personal information to anyone else unless you ask us to, or we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we have an active or reasonably likely commercial relationship with you, and after that only where we need to for legal or accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete your details sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep them.
Your choices
- Email: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply "stop" to any message.
- Advertising: you can control ad personalisation in the account settings of the advertising platform showing you the ad.
- Cookies and analytics: you can block cookies in your browser, and most browsers offer a "do not track" setting.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@hyperionred.com and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first so we can try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
